Getting Your Puppy to You: Our Wisteria Goldens families are all over the United States, (and sometimes Canada, Puerto Rico, and Mexico). We have created several options to choose from when it’s time to bring your puppy home. We have a range from picking your puppy up here, meeting us or having a Flight Nanny deliver your puppy to you at the nearest airport. We can work together to find the best option for Bringing Your Puppy Home!

Meeting in Dallas:

We are happy to meet you in Dallas and charge a $125 delivery fee. This fee is charged whether you are driving or flying to meet us. This covers our travel costs, health certificate, and time.

Picking Up Your Puppy:

Due to our travel schedule for meeting planes, driving to meet families, and families picking up, we have found it beneficial to schedule a time to pick up your puppy that accommodates our schedules. We know you are excited to bring your new puppy home and we want to give you our undivided attention to share information about your puppy with you. This works best when families arrive on time because having more than one excited family and puppy can create a bit of chaos.

While we LOVE dogs (obviously) and would love to see any other dogs you have, we ask that you not bring them to the ranch. We’re sure your dog is very healthy; however, our vet has advised us “strongly” not to allow this. We don’t want to offend or hurt anyone’s feelings, but we must follow the advice of our vet to keep everyone happy and healthy. AKC registration paper, original shot records, microchip registration information, etc., will be provided at the time of pick-up.

Meeting You:

If we have a few puppies in a litter going in the same direction, we will work out a delivery schedule to meet families to get your puppy to you. Charges are calculated based on mileage, travel expenses, and how many families we meet. These charges are included in your final payment.

Shipping Your Puppy:

We no longer ship puppies, and you must either travel here to pick up your puppy, meet us at a planned location, or fly into Dallas (DFW) to meet us and fly home with your puppy in the cabin of the plane.

American Airlines is the best option for traveling with the puppy in the plane’s cabin. Delta and United Airlines require the puppy to be ten weeks old. The weight limit is 20 lbs in the cabin, and the puppies generally will not meet this requirement at this age.

PUPS – Premiere Ultimate Puppy Service:

We know that with busy lives, schedules can sometimes be challenging. If you cannot fly into Dallas, come here, or travel to meet us, we have another option for you.

PUPS is a flight nanny service we have partnered with to help get your puppy to you. They will meet us at DFW, fly with your puppy in the plane’s cabin, and meet you at the nearest major airport.

This is a VIP Concierge Delivery Service. It is airport to airport with your puppy being with us and then the flight nanny, well cared for during travel.

Availability for this service is limited with each litter. We coordinate with PUPS on what day we will be in Dallas to meet families. They schedule flights for travel for families on this date.

We have previously worked with pet transportation services, and our experience wasn’t the best for our families and us. However, we know Kimberly and Mary Ann. Kimberly has a Wisteria Golden named Chester. They both are fabulous ladies! We know and trust that your puppy will be in good hands and well taken care of.

**PLEASE NOTE: If you are unable to take your puppy when they are ready to go to their new home, please connect with us for options, costs, and availability of them being able to stay longer. We are happy to work with families, but depending on the puppies we have in our Puppy Training Program, the litters we are taking care of, our travel schedule for meeting families, etc., there are times we cannot extend their stay, so prior arrangements must be made.
