Wisteria Tails Online January 27, 2024

The puppies are growing, and Chloe’s are getting ready to go to their new homes this week. We’ve put together their family scrapbooks and puppy bags we provide for their new family. It’s such a fun time for us to see the family’s faces when they meet their puppy.

Billy’s mom is still in the hospital and will be there for a few more weeks. My dad is back in the hospital, and we are all hoping for the best for both of them.

The weather has either been freezing cold or wet and rainy. I’m already over winter and looking forward to spring. I found some new rugs for in front of the doggie door and our laundry room to help keep down some of the dirt coming inside.

Chloe & Chance

The puppies are doing so well using the doggie door and experiencing new things. It doesn’t seem like they are almost ready for their new home so soon. We kept Teal and Lime girls from this litter. Still working on names for them. We have Green Boy (Finn), who is staying with us longer for training. So, not all of them are leaving.

Raine & Ego/Brea & Theo
The puppies are four weeks old now. Raine’s are everywhere, venturing out the doggie door to start doing their business outside. We’ve started them on mush as we prepare for Raine to start weaning them over the next few weeks. They wrestle and play with each other more – so fun to watch. Brea’s pups are starting to move more. We won’t start them on mush until they are up and around more than they are. They are chunky little sausages and barely getting around, but they’re starting to toddle more and more.

Summer & Chance

Summer’s pups are starting to get around more, however, their main activities are eating and sleeping. This week they’ll start moving and playing more with each other. We will have their 4-week pictures posted on Tuesday. You can see available pictures here: #summer010224

Older Girls

We are retiring Hope. Hope is a Promise/Ego girl. She is a lovely girl but needs to go to an only-dog home. She gets along well with “some” dogs, and others not so much, so it’s just best for her to be the only one.

Wisteria Promise of Hope (Promise/Ego)

Hope is a 4th generation Wisteria Golden girl who’s parents are Promise and Ego. You can find pictures, pedigree, health clearances and more here: Wisteria Promise of Hope

We also have Mags (who is a Promise / Tahoe girl). She had a lower hip score, so we won’t be keeping her for our breeding program as planned. She is a calmer, gentle girl who needs to be with someone who is home and just wants to hang out.
