Christmas is almost here. We have family celebrations, travel plans, cooking, baking, and grandkids coming to visit. My planning and scheduling paid off this year.
We traveled to Chattanooga this week and met Cliff’s family. Buddy has his new family now, and we are meeting them in Nashville at the beginning of this week. All of our older trained puppies are spoken for, and we are happy for them to be with their own families, being loved and spoiled!
We are celebrating Christmas at my dad’s this weekend. We have a country breakfast with biscuits, gravy, lots of bacon, and all the foods that are not healthy for you. We have a big crowd and always love being together. Four generations will be gathered together, and I feel blessed that we still have that many.
Matthew and Aveline are coming to spend some time with Grams and Grandad this week. Heather and I have planned cousin time together with baking cookies, going to the movies, and attempting to make pizzas with all of them.
I have all my shopping done, but I have some wrapping to do. This is the first year in a while I’ve got it all done early, including stocking stuffers. Now, to remember to do them — yes, it has happened before.
Chloe’s puppies are growing and are so fat. We have one little girl we watch closely, who is smaller than the rest of the puppies. It took her a few days to gain momentum, and she is now gaining more quickly each day.
We took their official newborn group picture for their baby book. We will take their two-week pictures this week and post them on Thursday. |
