Heather and I had another great gathering of friends and their friends, sharing health products, challenges and stories. It’s so special to come together and share health challenges and swap resources and what has worked for others, as well as finding out you are not alone, as we walk this getting healthy journey together.

My aunt and uncle—my dad’s brother and sister — came to visit this week. It was so wonderful to spend time with them. My uncle brought family pictures to go through. They brought such wonderful memories and stories to share. My uncle turned 91 in August and is the oldest of the seven siblings.

Thanksgiving is late in the month this year, and I love all the Christmas decorations, so I started early so I could enjoy them longer. It’s all a mess at the moment, but it will come together in the next few days, and I will share it with you in our next newsletter.

Ellie Mae & Ego pups – Two Weeks

Summer and Stormy had their ultrasound appointments this week. They are both confirmed expecting puppies! We are going to have an abundance of puppy breath to start off the New Year!

I was going through pictures the other day and found this one of Jaxson helping with the puppies years ago. I love all the grandkids have the opportunity to help raise and care for animals. Such a great experience for them.

We received this photo this week. It was taken at Babe’s Boutique in New Orleans. One family member got Chartres and a domino effect happened with another getting a Harper & Chance pup (who is missing) named Rip. Then Franklin joined the family, followed by Willow.

Chartres has been the official greeter at the boutique until this past June, where the owners sold the store. We’ve had several families that have met Chartres and then called us for a puppy of their own.

We are often asked about what doggie doors we use. We have tried several different types and brands, but these are our favorites. The seal on the doors we have found is the best. They are expensive, but with sealing from the heat and cold, we do think they save in the long run. Plus, if you are replacing flaps, the costs there add up, too. There are two different versions that can be installed in walls or doors.

We have the large installed, except the puppy rooms where the pregnant mama’s need more space.
