Happy November! We ordered, planned, and made progress this week in many areas. This weekend, we are having an open house, doing demos and sharing. Hope has found her new family and we finally got some rain!
Delivery services have been busy this week as we order supplies for puppies that are arriving soon. We know we will be busy, so we are proactively getting supplies for the puppy packs we put together for our families.
I’ve struggled this year with answering and keeping up with emails, and I worked several hours this week on deleting, replying, unsubscribing, and getting on top of my email Inbox. I still have a way to go, but I have made some progress in cleaning it up.
We have Chloe’s ultrasound to confirm her pregnancy this week. We don’t have a due date yet for Faith, but she should breed in the next few days. We have Evie we are waiting for and Gracie should come into heat the beginning of the year. Besides these two girls, this means we won’t have puppies again until next fall. While some dogs come into heat every six months, ours average every 8 to 10 months.
We will retire Faith and Summer after these litters. We have some younger girls, like Stormy that we are working on getting on the website, but they still aren’t old enough to breed, so depending on when the come into heat again, we could have a litter in the spring.
Hope found her new family this week. We are very excited for Hope and her new family. She will leave here the end of next week. It is hard when our older dogs leave. We love them and will miss them, but we’re also really happy for them.
We are having a come-and-experience get-together today at our house. We’ve had people interested in using the Kloud, so we decided to invite them all here and let them experience it themselves. Rhys is going to do a demo on how to use it on the horses. It’s been part of our new health journey, I decided I didn’t want to be an old, old person.
