Wisteria Tails Highlights 05-07-2016

Hello, Everyone!

Spring is here!  I love this time of year — time to clear out the old and bring in the new.  We have been planning on redoing/building a new area for the puppy nursery/training room area the last few years, but just haven't had the time to do it.  Some if the delay was just deciding exactly how we wanted to do the layout.

We have a makeshift nursery area for Aria and Breeze with their pups for now, as we have the whole basement area gutted out and expanding and reconfiguring the area for more room and efficiency.

We are so excited to be able to finally get this project done.  The concrete has been poured for the extension  and waiting for it dry, before building the walls.   We are tripling our training room area, as well as putting a washer/dryer close by.  It will sure save time and energy hauling all the puppy whelping blankets, bathing towels, etc. up and down the stairs.

We are also building two new “puppy play yards” outside and will be adding fun equipment, tunnels, and lots of fun stuff for them to explore.   We have had more requests over the last few years for our Puppy Training program and this will allow us to accommodate more of those requests.

Breeze had her puppies this week. We promptly announced the litter with 8 girls and 2 boys. Upon adding ribbons to them, we discovered we had 7 girls and 3 boys! Need to recheck next time — those early morning deliveries and not much sleep make for inaccurate counting. I caught a sweet picture of her with her puppies.

We will take group newborn pictures of her boys, girls, and a group picture this weekend and get it on the website for you.
