Skittles (Genny/Aspen) Hi Debbie, Skittles has been such a joy. She has brought so much happiness in to our home in just one afternoon…. she is a perfect fit for our family. She immediately connected with my youngest daughter. She has been playing and exploring (our backyard is over an acre) I think all the exploring has worn her out. She fell asleep on “daddy’s” lap. All the neighborhood kids and parents have spent the entire afternoon just adoring her. Thank you for helping us complete our family. We are truly blessed with this little angel!!! Respectfully yours, |

| Gus (Faith/Buddy)Hi Debbie, Sending you pictures of Gus. He is just over a year old now and absolutely the most amazing, loving, smart, sweet best friend I have ever had. Not to mention by far the most beautiful!! We just can’t imagine life without Gus. He was the perfect choice for us and we cant wait until we can bring home another Wisteria Golden!! You do such an amazing job with these puppies. Gus never had an accident in the house and has never chewed furniture or anything other than his toys. His puppy phase was a true breeze. Wish I had room for a dozen just like him. He is forever by my side.
THANK YOU |

| Cash (Genny/Aspen)He is a wonderful boy. He is in training to be a therapy dog, and is the sweetest dog I have ever owned. |
|
|
| Sawyer (Libby/Buddy)Hi Debbie. I wanted to thank you for the most fabulous dog ever. Sawyer is the best. He walks the kids to and from school every day and sleeps in our bed every night. We get so many comments about the adorable black spot on his head and how well behaved he is.
Thanks again! |

| Eli (Honey/Buddy)Debbie, Here are a few pictures of Eli at 4 months. He has been such a terrific puppy. Everyone that sees him falls in love with him immediately. They think he is the most handsome puppy they have ever seen. We are promoting your goldens quite well. We are so pleased with Eli.
Update: Hopefully I can send you a couple of Eli’s 1 yr. old pictures. He is just absolutely the most handsome dog we have ever seen! When we take him for walks we have people stop their cars in the middle of the road to tell us that he is the most handsome and gorgeous dog they have ever seen. We just get compliments all the time on him. He has been such a good dog and we just love him to death. Patty & Glenn |

| Tess (Shasta/Buddy)I wanted to send you a picture of Tess on her 5 month birthday. She is such a sweet, cuddly dog and very smart. We couldn’t be happier. I have never had a dog that just wants to please and love you to death. I can’t tell you again how many compliments we get on her all the time. We rave about Wisteria to people all the time, and that if they decide to ever get a English crème retriever that you are the place to get a most wonderful dog. Again, thank you for giving us such a wonderful addition to our family. Everyone loves her!!!

| Carter (Genny/Aspen) Hi Debbie, I just wanted to let you know that we couldn’t be happier with our little puppy. He is amazingly well behaved and gorgeous to boot. He’s great with people, other animals, and kids. We just can’t believe what a smart well mannered dog he is. In fact he was nearly potty trained when we got him. Thanks for everything.
Update: Dear Debbie, Thank you so much for everything. Your instructions and continued advice and support have been invaluable to us over the past 6 months. Everywhere we go with our dog we get compliments both on his appearance and his behavior. I think I have handed out your information a thousand times, and I’m happy to do it. The bio you put for Carter was spot on. I could tell you really spent considerable time with each pup and got to know their little personalities. It was also obvious that he came from a good breeder by his behavior when we got him. I’m not making this up, Carter only had 6 accidents in the house since receiving him at 8 weeks old and most of those were because we left him in the house too long. He also rarely chewed on the furniture, even during his teething stages. Recently I had a breeder and the daughter of the President of the Canadian Kennel Club stop her car just so she could see our dog. She kept telling us what fine breeding he had and how amazed she was at how well behaved he was. We have had no need for any professional training as he learns new tricks and commands very quickly. Sometimes people ask why we spent so much money on a dog and it almost makes me chuckle a little. If I knew the kind of dog he was I would have spent about 10 times more. Sincerely, |

Sammie (Mollie/Aspen) Hi Debbie! Sammie is the sweetest, most gentle and most beautiful dog we’ve ever seen. We love her dearly. She’s become a very important member of our family. People that see her can’t believe how gorgeous she is! We agree! JJ |

| Sacha (Genny/Aspen) Hi Debbie, Sacha is doing great. He is such a love. He never leaves my side and is so good. I take him to the beach after dinner or for a walk down the intracoastal and he seems to enjoy it. He does not like the heat so we spend time outside when it cools at night. I’ve put his paws in the water at the beach and in our pool but he’s not too sure about it yet. Sacha is really a good puppy and learns things quickly. He is the star of his puppy training class and everyone stops and admires him where ever I go. He is getting big. I feel like he grows every day. We are enjoying him so much.
Thanks so much for everything, |

| Jersey (Aspen/Genny)Debbie, Thank you so much for the Beautiful Puppy…. His name is Jersey he is now 10 weeks old. He has adjusted well to Minnesota and the nice spring we’re having. He loves to play, run and chase tennis balls. He is very smart. Catches on quickly and loves other dogs. My sister has a 11 week old cockapoo that he regularly plays with… and they wear each other out!
Thank you, Thank you. |

| Harley (Shasta/Buddy)Hi Debbie! How are you doing with all of your sweet little puppies? I cannot resist logging on and taking a look from time to time. Oh, the temptation! Harley is such a beautiful boy and he has bounds of energy. He is so big now that when I take him out to go potty and he sees a neighbor or another dog, I go flying across the yard–we need to work a little harder on his manners. Harley has many furry friends and one of his favorites is Cooper the Cat. I catch the two of them cuddling and licking each other. Everyone thinks Harley is so good looking and I am a constant advertiser for Wisteria Goldens and English Cream golden retrievers! Just wanted to give you a quick update and thank you for such a special “little” boy.

| Baxter (Rory/Buddy)Hi Debbie, Baxter is awesome! He ate and drank and responds well to ‘baited’ commands, exactly as you said. I let him roam around the house to get familiar with all the new surroundings. He went potty outside and then we came in an discovered the big basket of toys. He is a love! He follows me everywhere I go and give kisses for a treat. He has just fallen asleep in his new crate with a toy or two. Thank you again and Melissa for such great preparation. The entire experience was better than I could have imagined from start to welcoming Baxter to his new home. I will send pictures as soon as Baxter stays still for a minute! I’m in love already!
Warmest thanks, P.S. Melissa and anyone who contributed to Baxter’s training did an awesome job – Baxter sits, shakes, rolls over, and is starting to sit at the front door when he needs to go outside for potty. Amazing. I have enrolled him (us) in a training course that starts later this month to continue what is an obvious great beginning. I wish I got two of them! Update: Hi Debbie, Just wanted to update you on Baxter. He has completed 32 weeks of additional training since leaving Wisteria and this is one smart boy. He can pick toys based on color – when I tell him “get your red toy Baxter” (A Kong rubber toy) he picks it out of a basket with about 10-15 toys. When I tell him to bring me your rope (Booda Bone flossy rope toy) – he does the same. He will come when called from any distance and is perfectly behaved off leash. He does his “outside work” in the same place all the time for easy clean up and so he can have his whole big yard to run and play ball with me! I have been educating airline pilots for many years and have been licensed by the Federal Government to train Professional Pilots. One of the pillars of education is “that which is learned first, is earned best”. I say this to emphasize the wonderful start of training Baxter received at Wisteria Ranch. I have continued to work with him for consistency and repetition. He can walk 50 yards where I have pre positioned treats and toys along the way…I stand at one end and he starts at the other. I call him to me and on the way- if he attempts to take a treat or grab a toy, I simply say “leave it” and he drops it immediately. He was at the top of his class and I am so honored to have him. He has made my house a home. Thank you again. (can you believe Baxter will be 2 years old on 12/16/11? (Buddy/Rory litter of 12/16/09). I am so happy with Baxter – my never ending thanks to you all at Wisteria. Kind Regards, |

| Tyler (Genny/Aspen) Hi, Debbie – hope this finds everyone in good health – and wishing you a Happy New Year! Tyler is an absolute angel and I can’t imagine a day without him. I’ve introduced him to basic and advanced obedience and he just was a natural, loved it. Everyone who meets him can’t believe he’s only 10 months old, yet puppyhood is alive and well in my Tyler. He’s with me everywhere I go and seems to miss me when he can’t be. I consider adopting Tyler the best thing I’ve done in a very long time. Well, may this coming year keep you happy and in good health.
Update: Hi, Debbie – I wanted to send you the most recent picture I have of the handsomest English Creme Golden ever! Now, Tyler is 18 months old and continues to endear himself to me each and every day… Regards, |

| Miley (Lyra/Aspen)Dear Debbie, Thank you so much for Miley. Everything went better than I expected. Obviously you take great care of your puppies and we certainly appreciate your hard work and love.

| Deacon (Mollie/Aspen)Debbie, He sat up in his crate for the first five minutes or so, and then laid down most of the rest of the way back to home. I had to stop for gas at one point, and he looked a little concerned, but he was fine once I got back in the car. We did get 4-5 inches of snow overnight, but the roads didn’t start to get bad until the last twenty miles or so. Other first night observations/comments: 1. We’re named him “Deacon”, and shorten it to “Deac”. He seems to be picking that up pretty quickly. 2. It’s amazing that he’s already housebroken to such a great degree. We just take him out when we should, he gets right to it, and then right back in the house. 3. We have a crate set up in our room, so he slept near our bed. He moved around a bit at about 3 AM, but he made it all the way through the night. Didn’t expect that either! 4. He has a wonderful temperament, as you had described. He’s already bonding with everyone here, and a good sense of the layout of the house, and couldn’t be a more perfect fit. 5. I didn’t think to mention it in the parking lot yesterday, but he’s a really nice looking pup. His pictures on the net looked good, but he looked better in person. It was quite cold yesterday when we met, and I think all three of us were eager to get back in the cars and out of the wind, but I wanted to thank you again for all you’ve done. From the proper breeding of the dogs in the first place to produce such a great little guy, to helping me through the selection process to make sure we chose the right pup for our family. During our initial phone conversation, I asked you a question comparing Deac and his brother, and Billy went right out, looked at the two, and came back and gave me the answer. It’s about going the extra mile. I’m sure you’ll remember that I originally called about a female from a different litter. After we talked, you felt Deac would be the better fit for us. I can’t speak about the female, but you couldn’t have gotten it more “right” than you did with Deacon. That means a lot to our whole family.
Thank you, |
|

| Jamie (Libby/Aspen)Hey Debbie, I just wanted to tell you that you and your family have done an outstanding job socializing Jamie on the ranch. Not only is he beautiful but he is also sweet and loving with a playful streak so far his energy level is perfect for our family. He is getting used to the city sounds slowly. Luckily, Norfolk is a little quieter than Washington so he will get a few days of small city sounds before he goes to the big city. Thanks, |
|
|
| Bowie (Mollie/Aspen) We love him. He is perfect. Thank you for your care before he came home to us. He’s beautiful. Bowie made the cover of a school project! |

| Maya (Honey/Aspen)Debbie, Just wanted to send you a quick update on Maya. At a little over 6 months old she is 47 pounds and still growing. She has just passed her canine college basic training course and is in the advanced off-leash training now. She is doing great.
Update: Maya is doing great. She is 67 pounds now. She has also passed her Basic & Advanced Canine College. She has a wonderful temperament. She is slowly showing signs of starting to get out of the puppy phase, but she still has a lot of puppy in her. She does great with other dogs and children as well. She goes to daycare several time a week where she get to play with 20-30 other dogs all day. Regards, |

She is doing great, and we are so pleased with her. She gets along great with Leo, Missy and our cat. I see changes in her each week, she is so busy loves to explore anything and everything. She has an absolutely amazing personality, she is very smart and is learning fast. Everyone is our family just adores her, she has been so spoiled between all of them. More toys that she knows what to do with! I am attaching some pictures of Lola and Leo for you!!! They are such beautiful dogs!!!! Thank you again!!! I will be sure to send pictures as she matures!

| Chloe (Genny/Aspen)Chloe is an absolutely wonderful dog, with a great personality. She is very loving, sweet, obedient and smart. She sleeps with us and goes most everywhere we go. She loves the beach, but is not overly fond of swimming yet – I think we need to take her out with some older dogs that like to swim – she loves playing with other dogs and I don’t think she could resist if they were swimming. Chloe has been everything we could have hoped for and a wonderful addition to our family.
Update: This is our adorable Chloe! The boys and I love her and have enjoyed her so much! She is the best dog and we are so proud she comes from Wisteria Ranch!! Thanks for everything! |
|

| Buck (Faith/Buddy)Hey Debbie, Just wanted you to know that Buck is doing great! He had a great trip and has adjusted so well to our home. He acts like he has been here for weeks. Thanks to you for everything. I took him to the vet on Monday and he got a great initial checkup. She loved him! He likes sleeping in his crate at night. I can’t tell you how much we love him. I am having pictures made of him this weekend. I will send some to you.
Thanks again! |

| Chloe (Faith/Buddy) Debbie, Chloe is doing great! What a beautiful outgoing little girl. I couldn’t be happier. She’s been to vet and goes back 3 weeks for her next round of shots. The vet was very impressed with her! She’s adjusting well and is very smart! Thank you so much! We will keep you posted on how she’s doing.
Take care, |

| Barley (Sugar/Aspen)Debbie, I just wanted you to know how great Barkley is doing! He is absolutely beautiful–he looks just like Aspen. He weighs 83 lbs. and is 25 inches tall. Everywhere we go, people stop to tell me how beautiful he is. He loves people! He is so smart, kind, gentle, and affectionate. When the lady that runs the dog therapy program tested him, she said he was the kindest and most easy going dog she had ever tested especially since he was still so young. The first time we went to the nursing home, it was just like he automatically knew he suppose to make those old people feel better. As soon as he walked though the door, he was amazing– he shook hands, he sat, he laid down by their wheel chairs, and he put his head on their bed so they could pet him. We will start working on our certification in February. He is amazing! He has just joy in his face and in his personality!
Sincerely, |
|
|
| Bella (Mollie/Aspen) Bella’s vet visit went well…just had the whole office in an uproar ooooing and aahhhing. She was a big hit to say the least!!!! When I upload some pictures I will send them. she has mastered going up and down the stairs inside and out and so she just loves turning around outside after we just go out and is like lightening running for those steps. She is the sweetest puppy. I hope everyone else that purchased a puppy is as happy as she has made our home!
Have a great day Debbie! |
|
|
| Emma (Mollie/Aspen) She did very well, she has a wonderful disposition, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a puppy with such a calm way. She hasn’t had a accident in the house yet, goes potty as soon as I take her out! Everybody is in love with her already, you do a great job with your dogs. We will enjoy her so much.
Thanks Debbie, |

|
| Bella (Honey/Aspen)Debbie and Billy, We don’t even know how to begin to tell you how we feel about you and how you take care of your puppies. When we had our first conversation on the phone I just knew we clicked. You and Billy feel the same way we do about chemicals and that “natural is better”. When we visited Wisteria Ranch and experienced (and experienced is exactly the right word) we were amazed at how healthy and happy your moms and dad and puppies were. It was Golden and English Crème Heaven. Choosing our Bella was next to impossible. Thank goodness she chose us. We absolutely are in love with our Bella. Our vet said she is an amazingly healthy puppy. She is also well adjusted and already potty trained. We are looking forward to a long and exciting future with Bella and the Franklins. God Bless you and Billy and Honey, Aspen , Sugar, Faith, Libby, and Frisco.

| Tawny (Shasta/Buddy)Tawny… she is the most amazing little girl I have ever seen. We are absolutely in love with her. I have never seen a dog that liked to just lay beside you or sit in your lap (seriously) as much as she does. The kids adore her and vice/versa. She potty trained instantly and behaves so good. We brush her every night to help with the shedding. She just lays down and lets me roll her over or move her around however I need. She is 6 months and weighs probably around 45 pounds.
Thanks Again, |
|
|
| Mae Belle (Vega/Aspen) Mae Belle … Everywhere we go people are always commenting on how sweet Mae is… she is our LOVER… a licker and a cuddler. I have even caught Mae cuddling with one of our cats in the dog bed asleep! Thank you for giving us our sweet Mae- she makes our family now complete!

| Blunder (Lyra/Aspen) Thought you might like an update on our puppy. We named him Blunder, and we are completely in love with him. He is enjoying his new Saint Bernard brother (2-1/3-year old Derringer) very much. He is exploring the water and swimming a tiny bit. Also, has been on many boat outings with us and will be a great nautical dog.
Hope all of the other pups are as happy and well adjusted as he is, and of course…hope the other owners are as pleased as we are. |
