Sugar delivered two puppies on Saturday, Dec. 20th.  One Boy and One Girl.  Two, she only had two!

I got a new Flip Video camera and this is my first attempt at taking puppy video!  They are 1 week old.

They will be 8 weeks old on Thanksgiving day!  We are excited for them to be going to their new homes, as we know how much their new families are anxiously waiting for them!  With the holiday a few of them will be delayed in traveling, which works out for us to keep them just a little bit longer.

They spent their first night with the door closed on their crate last night — just a few little whines for about 5 minutes — all was quiet for about an hour.  Billy took them outside for a potty break and then they all slept peacefully until 5:00a this morning.

They are such great babies!

Sugar and Aspen are expecting!

Their  litter of puppies are due on December 24th!  Christmas Eve babies.  (Well, if they arrive on their due date.) 

My daughter in law is also expecting her baby in December, so we are going to have lots of babies around!

I currently have some deposits on the upcoming litter.  Email me if you are interested in placing a deposit and I will let you know what placement I have available.

Hi Everyone,

Do you know how hard it is to get a puppy to be still on a bathroom scale at 7 weeks old? On a scale of 1 – 10, probably about an 13! LOL So, these weights are close, but I will not guarantee their accuracy!

The puppies now weigh:

Lt. Blue (Kristen) – 13.0
Red (Roe) – 12.0
Blue (Yogi) – 14.6
Purple (Betsy) – 12.8
Yellow (Nico) – 13.2
Pink (Daisy) – 12.0

They are all doing great! They are all sleeping in the crates at night. We haven’t put the doors on them yet, but tonight is the big night. We have set up gates and leave the laundry room door open during the day and they are now going up and down the stairs by themselves out to the back yard! They are keeping the laundry room clean and doing their business outside! They are such good puppies.

Our beauitful Vega, had 6 puppies!  4 girls and 2 boys! 

The last girl is Yellow Girl — and she weighed in at 1.2 oz.  We have a beautiful litter.  Vega was huge and we thought she would have at least 10 puppies.  These puppies are big babies — filled out so nicely, and all healthy!

Mom and babies are resting — as are Dr. Billy and nurse Debbie.  I will post a couple of pictures later today.

Another sweet English Creme Girl has arrived — light blue girl arrived at 11:00p and weighed in at 1.2 oz!  Vega is getting tired (I know I would be)  She has cleaned and dried them all — they are nursing, sleeping, and mom is getting in a nap before another baby decides to come into the world!

Hi Everyone,

Count is now — 2 boys and 2 girls. 

Birth order:  Blue Boy - 1.4 oz, Pink Girl - 1.4 oz, Purple Girl - 1.4 oz, and Red Boy - 1.2 oz.

All the puppies are doing great — so is Mom!  She is such a good girl!

We now have a girl!  Count is 1 boy and 1 girl, both of them weighed 1.4 oz…they are big babies.  Mom is doing great.  She has more to come!

Vega had her first puppy — it’s a boy!  More on the way….

Vega is growing bigger every day.  She is walking slower, sleeping more, but doing very well!  We are setting up her whelping box in the laundry room and getting her place prepared.

This is Vega’s favorite place in my office right now — in her favorite position.  I have a bed for her, but the plain floor makes her happier.
