English Cream Golden Retriever Available Puppies at Wisteria Ranch
Wisteria English Golden Retriever puppies are welcomed into the world in our home and raised indoors. At 4 weeks of age they are introduced to an area that has a doggie door that goes outdoors into a play area. This transition helps the mom to teach them how to “go potty” outdoors, which helps make housetraining your English Cream Golden Retriever puppy easier.
We have crates in their sleeping area, but start introducing puppies to being in the crate, with the door closed, for a few minutes each day starting at about 4 weeks and gradually increasing the time. We work on getting the English Cream Golden Retriever puppy used to the crate for families that will continue to crate train, as well as preparing them for the flight to their new homes, if they are not being picked up.
Our English Cream Golden Retrievers have many confirmation champions in their pedigrees. Some of these have been imported and some are still overseas. While confirmation and health clearances are definitely important, we also focus on raising English Golden Retrievers that have good temperaments. Wisteria Goldens wants loving, mellow, intelligent English Cream Goldens here at our ranch and want to provide nothing less to families; Healthy puppies with great personalities!
Most of our families do pick their English Cream Golden Retriever online with our assistance. But, we welcome visitors to Wisteria Ranch – to meet and visit with us before purchasing their Wisteria Golden English Golden Retriever puppy and/or when it comes time to pick out your puppy.
We know that families that buy a Wisteria Golden have many English Golden Retriever breeders to choose from when deciding on a puppy. We consider it an honor that they choose us and we strive to breed healthy, happy, and beautiful English Cream Golden Retriever puppies to give you years of loyal and loving companionship. We realize there is no perfection, only the desire and intention to attain it, which we do every day.
We ask questions of our prospective families, such as: Do you have children? If so, what are their ages? Do you have other pets? What are you looking for in an English Cream Golden Retriever puppy? These questions are not meant to be nosey, but we know that buying an English Golden Retriever puppy for your family is an important decision and we want to ensure the best “fit” with matching a puppy to your family. We provide pictures at 3, 4, 5, & 6 weeks intervals, as well as provide size, temperament, coloring of the puppy to help with the decision making process. It is important to us that our families love their Wisteria Golden English Cream Golden Retriever!

Hope & Faith lying around the house as puppies.
All Wisteria English Cream Golden Retriever puppies receive lots of love, attention, socialization, and are started on basic training. Our goal is to raise and have confident, secure puppies that are able to adjust quickly to new environments, things, people, places, etc. We use an early neurological stimulation process, along with “The Rules of 7’s by Pat Schaap.”
Our routine and process of working with the puppies is designed for giving our English Cream Goldens a great foundational start in order to become the best possible member of your family.
We have designed each week to build upon the next.
English Cream Golden Retriever Puppies Foundational Start Routine – Wisteria Goldens
Our Foundational Start Routine is designed each week to build upon the next. We recommend each new Forever Home continue with the introduced socialization training and continue to build upon each activity when your puppy arrives to your home.
–Newborn to two weeks:
Hold/handle puppy while touching ears, mouth, feet, toes, and tail.
Begin introducing puppy to temperature changes and textures inside the whelping box.
–Two to four weeks:
Continue above routine and add toys to whelping box.
–Four to five weeks:
Begin introducing to the crate, grooming table, and grooming process; Brushing, nail clipping, cleaning ears, etc. We have Puppy Parties and Puppy Gym sessions as part of socialization training.
–Five to six weeks:
We continue all of the previous week’s activities and introduce puppies to new areas as a litter such as group walks outside to familiarize with new surroundings.
–Six to eight weeks:
Continue all of the previous week’s activities and add individual time with each puppy in the litter. At this age we begin to introduce Clicker Training with treats. Training commands are introduced (sit) and an introduction to a collar and leash (walking on a leash).
