A few years ago all of us watched to see if the food we were feeding our beloved pet was going to be recalled. The news was flooded with story after story of dogs and cats that were either very sick or had died. It was heart breaking.
I received a notice that Procter & Gamble Company is voluntarily recalling a specific lot of its canned cat food as a precautionary measure. It does not meet the recommended quality standards for thiamine.
Product Name: Iams ProActive Health canned cat and kitten food — all varieties of 3 oz & 5.5 oz cans. The date on the bottom of the cans: 9/2011 – 6/2012. Any concerns — call them at 877-340-8826.
